ROBOT FORUM ADVERTISING

I am selling ad space on the ROBOT FORUM.
I am only selling ads for robotics related products and services. To find more about who visits SoR, see my 2008 robot hobbyist trends report.

How does Advertising Work?
An unbiased randomized script will read from a list of ads to display a single ad on the forum.

Going Rates
These amounts may change in the future, depending on demand. Paying for multiple months would lock in your rate.

3 Ads (Basic) = $20/month
(double your ad frequency for $40/month)

Each ad can all be the same, or have a different image and link - your choice.

I charge through Google Checkout.

Ad Image Rules
The rules are common sense:

• nothing illegal!
• no deceptive ads (i.e. image of something you aren't selling)
• no bait-and-switch (i.e. win a free iPod, etc.)
• please display site url on ad (i.e. RobotParts.com)
• ad must be robotics related in some way
• animated ads are allowed, but nothing that causes seizures
• cannot advertise your own robot web tutorials or forum

If for example you paid for three ads, send me two things:

• image locations of each ad
• desired links for each ad

For example, if you were selling three different products, you can have a different ad for each product. Or all three ads can be exactly the same - your choice! Just send me ads and corresponding links for each.

What type of traffic should I expect?
The SoR forum gets on average 800k pageviews per month. Depending on traffic fluctuation, and current number of advertisers, you should expect between 3k and 5k daily impressions per Basic advertisement.

How do I cancel after my month? How do I continue advertising?
Just send me an email. I'll also send you a reminder email.
