The OSCAR system is a modular robotics system designed to aid new builders in exploring complex concepts with a smaller learning curve while still encouraging creativity. It also has the added side benefit of allowing experienced builders to concentrate on a more complex advanced robotic design and concentrate on making robots do bigger and better things without worrying about how many pins they have and what the next ADC value from a sensor will be.
The distance sensor is designed to work with the EZ1 sonar sensor. Future revisions of the module will include more complex functions and more sensor types. The current build of the project has the ability to take sensor readings and store them for retrevial from the master controller. It can handle up to 6 sensors at one time.
